The
new layout seems to be operating smoothly. I am still ironing out the logistics
of the gallery so bear with me as I figure things out. You may see some broken
links or some other bugs along the way. I have posted THREE new photo galleries
for your viewing pleasure. One is from the spring snowstorm we in Michigan received,
and the other two are from my recent trip up north (northern michigan). If you
missed the last update (July 17, 2003) then check out the Archives section to
stay informed. That's about it for site news, keep reading below to see what
my mind has been pondering lately.
On my recent
jaunt to the deep south a video was recorded. I was driving and my brother Tyler
was riding shotgun. We had the music loud, the AC high, the sound of hot pavement
roaring beneath our tires, and what do I hear in the backseat? Click HERE
to find out.
Biggest
State in the Lower 48...
Can someone please tell me what's SO great about Texas? What's so great about
white bread Christians and their trucks, with their "southern hospitality"
and "don't mess with Texas" pride. Every suburb of Dallas looks exactly
like the others; new home construction with a Tom Thumb and Texaco on every
corner. One could exist on the amenities within one square mile of their home.
They build houses so close together that female neighbors know each others menstrual
cycles. And then there's that lovely Texas heat with a side of humidity. The
second I stepped outside I felt the need for a shower because my pores were
dripping with sweat. But you know Texas does have one good thing going for it,
after all, it is the home state of President George W. Bush. A noble man, a
Christian man, a dimwit of a man. A man who led us guns a blazin' into Iraq,
destroying the lives of the Iraqi people, tearing down their country with the
promise of "rebuilding," but leaving them without power, without water,
without order, but with a shitload of fear. So please, I beg, enlighten me on
the wonder of Texas...if you can.
