The world lost a great man on Monday when Bob Hope died. Not only was he a comedic legend, but he also gave a lot of himself. Let's remember him with humor and heart.

On a more upbeat note I gotta give mad props to Lance Armstrong for winning his FIFTH Tour de France. That's an amazing accomplishment to stay on top of one's sport for five years running, and to have battled cancer along the way. I hope he goes for, and gets, number SIX.

Every summer we feverishly plant flowers and get our front and back yard looking nice. It takes a good few weeks for the flowers to come into bloom, and when they do I try to capture their full beauty with my camera. I got a few good snaps in a few weeks ago and I've created a gallery for them called Summer Flowers 2003. I took some more pictures today but have yet to post them. I really need to pat myself on the back cause the photos I took today are beautiful! I was blown away when I was flipping through them. I will be posting them in the gallery on the next update which should be in a few days.

That's right...I GOT A JOB. I'm copy writing for the Creative Services department at the Detroit Newspapers Agency. I got the job cause my mom is a big boss down there, but also cause I like to write and I'm somewhat good at putting a sentence together that makes sense. So not only is this a good experience for any future gig I get into, but it also puts a lil' bank in my pocket. I work three days a week (MWF) for five hours a day and so far it's been cool. It does take away from my Soulsmiles time but don't fret cause I'm always thinking about what I can jibba-jab about on here.

It's a well known fact in my family that I have bowel and gastrointestinal issues. I discuss it pretty openly with my family, and now with you people, because that's just the kind of family we are. We've discussed all forms of shitting, we've even visited the www.ratemypoo.com site because we found it just so damn disgustingly funny. Anyway, it's considered an accomplishment when I have a normal shit; normal being no stomachache and no "runs." So HERE is a recent conversation I had with my brother about my latest bowel movements. If you are completely disgusted with this I offer you no apology. To know me is to know my bowel movements.
