As promised I have posted the galleries of the flower pictures I took last week. The galleries turned out really nice and I am extremely proud of the photos I took. I've made the picture sizes larger in these new galleries so you guys can see them on a larger scale. The colors are really sweet. I usually touch them up a tiny bit in photoshop, but I didn't have to do that this time. I will shutup now and let the pictures speak for themselves. Click on the Gallery link above to see the new pics. Enjoy!

I'm takin' ya back to the old skool (cause I'm an old fool who's so cool) with this weeks music choices.
- RunDMC "You Be Illin'"
- Sugarhill Gang "Rapper's Delight"
- Sir Mix Alot "Buttermilk Biscuits" (shoutout to Erica for the suggestion)

Tombraider 2 - Lara Croft: Cradle of Life Movie Review...
Alright, I'm going to say it right now...I LOVE ANGELINA JOLIE. She was in a few of my favorite movies; FoxFire, Hackers, and Gia, before she evolved into "Lara Croft." So me and Angelina go way back. It's actually been cool to see her evolve as an actress, and even in her life (in what little the public knows about her). But on with the movie review!
As an action movie junkie I had to see this one, and while I wasn't disappointed, I also wasn't amazed. It pretty much followed the same formula as the first one. Bad ass action chick kicks ass, searches the globe in tight clothing, must save the world, all in just a couple of days. But hey, it works, I saw it right? Angelina Jolie pulls off the part of world savior quite well, and without being all, like, ohmygod, I'm a playboy bunny...ya feel me? She's beautiful yes, but she's also smart and she does the fight sequences really convincingly.
Negative...
While I was watching this movie I was reminded of the new James Bond movies because some of the stunts are so not beleivable. Like the whole riding the shark sequences would NEVER happen, just like James Bond riding a 100 foot wave would never happen. But I came to terms with the type of movie this is meaning that this movie isn't made for "the academy," it's made for the movie going public, which is me. One thing that typically turns me off in action movies are monsters or aliens. I just don't like them. But this movie WAS based on a video game so I let that slide.
Overall...
This is an all around decent movie. You're not going to leave the theater amazed, but you will leave satisfied. Movies with large climactic endings do tend to leave the moviegoer satisifed just because of the story coming full circle, so if you don't leave satisfied then you're not a stooge like the rest of us. I'm a stooge cause I liked it, but Angeline Jolie could be on film reading a book for 2 hours and I would still watch. I'm a stooge and I'm biased...maybe you are too.

Anger doesn't begin to describe how I feel about Bush's recent comments about gay marriage. I am deeply, deeply saddened that Bush says he has lawyers working on how to constitutionally ban gay marraige. Constitutionally!
I would like to ask him who he thinks he is telling me who I can and cannot marry. If man and woman are meant to be together then why does homosexuality exist at all? And given a choice, why would ANYONE choose to be gay? Life isn't easier when you're gay, it's not fun, it's oppressive and sad. But I do choose not to live a lie. I would rather suffer the wrath of closemindedness in this country than live my life hiding in a closet. But Bush, the slimly elected leader of the free world, is ready to put me back in the closet and throw away the goddamn key. He says I should feel free to live my life as I see fit, but I just can't marry who I want to marry...thanks for the contradiction President Bush, may I have another?
I am choosing not to let my true feelings explode beneath my fingers on this keyboard. Perhaps when I can put my thoughts on the subject down in the privacy of my own mind I will expound upon this furuther. But for now all I can say is I didn't vote for Bush, and I won't vote for him in 2004, and anyone with a right mind won't either.
