the intimidation you sense is nothing more than a front
protection
in a world out to prove just how much loss I can sustain.
it used to be about physical prowess
I am bigger
stronger
and more fierce,
fear me
before I can fear you,
now it's about intelligence
I am smart
arrogant
and seemingly laid back,
fear me
before I can fear you.
you see, I approach the world with timidity
shaping my behavior and thought structure.
simply stated,
I am the intimidated.
so while you think I'm sittin' back and judging you
I'm really just sittin' back hoping not to be judged
by you.
you must understand that my will to protect myself does not acquiesce to force,
or insults,
no matter how determined you think you are.
