we take what we can take
and do what we can do
to give what we can give
an otherworldly mind swirls with indecision
to whom do I let down the most?
whose psyche can handle the burden of my instability?
the decision always cycles down to me backed into a corner
cowering, yet lashing out
in my smallness it's me I let down
me handling the burden of me
